Starting a new daycare business
From a dream to a thriving reality: How creating a daycare changed my life and the lives of so many families. 🚀
When I first opened Kids Creative Care while running a large new vehicle dealership operation, I knew I wanted to create more than just a daycare—I wanted to build a safe, nurturing, and creative environment where children could thrive and parents could feel confident. Fast forward to today. Together with my daughter running the center, I’m proud to share how far we’ve come:
👉 15,000 square feet of state-of-the-art facilities
👉 Over 200 children under our care
👉 Generating $2.5 million in annual revenue
This growth didn’t happen overnight, and it certainly didn’t happen without challenges. Here's what made the difference:
1️⃣ A People-First Approach
We've always put people first, whether it’s the children, their families, or our incredible team. Investing in staff training and creating a positive workplace culture has been pivotal. Happy employees lead to happy kids and families!
2️⃣ Listening and Evolving
From the needs of working parents to the latest advancements in early childhood education, we’ve stayed adaptable. Listening to feedback and striving for continuous improvement has kept us relevant and trusted in our community.
3️⃣ A Commitment to Excellence
Growing a business isn’t just about size; it’s about impact. Every square foot of our facility and every program we offer is designed to help children develop their unique potential.
The road hasn’t always been easy, but the reward has been worth every step. I’m incredibly grateful to our amazing team, the families who have trusted us, and the community that has supported us along the way.
To fellow entrepreneurs, here’s my advice:
👉 Dream big, but start small.
👉 Build a team that believes in your mission.
👉 Always remember why you started.
Here’s to continuing the growth journey, learning, and making a difference—one child at a time! 🌈
If you’ve ever considered starting a business, especially one that serves your community, I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences. Let’s connect and inspire each other!
